Interface Design in Photoshop for Android

Introduction

Hi there! Today I want to share a small design exercise which, despite how simple it may seem, helped me a lot in understanding how to use Photoshop for layout creation.

I learned how to use elements, arrange them in an orderly way, and most importantly, work in Photoshop—a tool that has never been my go-to for working with images.

Process

I initially uploaded the project to GitLab, and I plan to clone it to GitHub later on.

It's worth noting that I'm not a designer, but a developer. So when tackling this challenge, I had to review many apps and analyze how they behave, since horizontal layout is not the same as vertical.

Resolutions and Devices

Each PSD file includes the appropriate resolutions for the device I selected, trying to match the screen size as closely as possible.
